I have played millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
