I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
