I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
