I have bet on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
